Grand Rapids, Michigan has recorded a $2,135,000 sale of East Paris Medical Center, a medical and professional office property on the city’s southeast side. That building measures 10,011 SF and was fully leased when it changed hands.
Marcus & Millichap arranged the deal under an exclusive listing agreement. Seth Haron, Ashish Vakhariya and Darin Gross, investment specialists working out of the brokerage’s Detroit office, represented a local private investor and retired physician who owned the asset.
Trinity Health Michigan anchors the tenancy. Multi-tenant medical buildings of this size commonly house outpatient practices that want proximity to inpatient campuses without occupying space inside them, and this location falls near Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital, Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital and Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital.
Southeast Grand Rapids has developed into one of the region’s denser concentrations of care delivery, with hospital campuses, physician groups and support services occupying much of the surrounding real estate. Ownership of smaller assets in corridors like this one frequently rests with individual investors rather than institutional buyers.
