Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital has completed a remodel and expansion of its Inpatient Behavioral Health unit, increasing capacity and adding dedicated clinical and therapeutic space.

The project added two new patient rooms, expanded modern office space for care teams, and introduced a purpose-built activity room to support therapeutic programming such as group education and coping skills sessions. The upgrades are intended to improve access to inpatient behavioral health care for residents of Oneida County and the surrounding region while supporting coordinated, patient-centered treatment delivery.

The activity room provides a structured environment for therapy under the supervision of medical and behavioral health professionals. The completed work advances Aspirus Health’s broader efforts to strengthen behavioral health services across northern Wisconsin, according to the health system.
